Zeina Shuhaibar is the Deputy Director of the Global Opportunity Youth Network (GOYN). In her role, Zeina helps to oversee the day-to-day management of the GOYN team and set strategic direction for the work and growth of the network. Prior to joining GOYN, Zeina had spent 10 years working in a variety of roles in the humanitarian sector with the International Rescue Committee, where she focused on promoting economic empowerment and financial inclusion of diverse populations affected by crisis and conflict, including refugees, internally displaced people, and youth. Her focus areas have been in employment and entrepreneurship programs in urban and peri-urban contexts, and she has supported programs predominantly in the Middle East and North Africa, East Asia, East Africa, and Europe.
Zeina is a Lebanese-American daughter of immigrants and is passionate about uplifting diverse voices and promoting economic opportunity for marginalized groups. Zeina holds a B.A. in International Political Economy from Fordham University and a Master’s in Public Policy from the Harvard Kennedy School.
