Hiring: Aspen FCS, Fresh Tracks Program Coordinator Consultant

blog

The Aspen Institute Forum for Community Solutions (FCS) is seeking a Program Coordinator Consultant to perform a wide range of program activities. The consultant is the primary program coordinator for Fresh Tracks at FCS, and supports all internal and external program activities.

The initial period of this contract will be one year, with the potential for extension. The funding available for this position is up to $4,000 per month (plus expenses for any required travel), with the understanding that this contract will entail 30 hours per week of work. FCS has its main office in Washington DC, but the consultant may be located anywhere in the US. FCS prefers to hire an individual, rather than a firm, for this work.

The consultant must have considerable prior experience across a broad range of typical non-profit activities, and must have led program coordination in the past. Prior work on the issues that FCS focuses on, and/or work in social justice-related community engagement is a bonus, but not required. Women, people of color, and other minorities are strongly encouraged to apply.

A detailed description of the contract scope of work and application instructions is available here.
